This clip of the kindhearted girl who rescues a little bird will make you feel good!

In this wholesome video, she helps the bird do something it finds hard—she helps it fly.

"I had just gotten home when I found this bird on the ground," Wesley Beeson explained to WooGlobe. "I carefully moved it into the shade because it was hot out, and I thought it might need to rest.

"Worried that it was hurt, I watched over it when the bird came over to me and sat on my shoe. I reached out my hand, and it hopped in it. It immediately relaxed and got cozy in my hand.

"I sat with the swift for a while as I checked it for injuries or other abnormalities to see if I had to reach out to a wildlife facility.

"When I saw that the swift was healthy and just needed a break, I offered some water from the river near me and let it rest until it showed signs of wanting to fly.

"I put the bird in a perched position on my hand and had it spread out its wing to start our lesson. I pumped my hand up and down to let it feel the wind under its wings.

"Once the swift got the hang of it, it flew short distances around my yard. Eventually, it soared off over the river and into the air."
