This is the heartwarming moment a Good Samaritan rescued and adopted an injured stray kitten he found lying on the road in Thailand.

Chanatthana Sridadech noticed the helplesss feline on the pavement while driving to work in Nakhon Sawan province on November 3.

The hapless animal appeared on the verge of death as it was unable to move, with both forelegs broken and blood flowing out from its nose.

Kind Chanatthana rushed the kitten to a veterinarian and footed all the expenses. After the baby cat had recovered, he took it home and named it Metang.

He said: 'I'm glad I met Metang before it was too late. It was barely breathing when I first found it.'
