This is the shocking moment angry football fans rioted during a student match in Thailand.

The unruly supporters began jeering at each other at the start of the game at the Supachalasai National Stadium in Bangkok on November 6.

Tensions turned high among the crowd when the Debsirin School scored a goal in the first half.

During the second half players from Phonimit Wittayakom School tried to equalise but lost to their opponent in the Channel 7 Football Championship game.

However, just as the students were leaving, some students reportedly threw empty water bottles across barriers before opposing fans retaliated and they attacked each other in a mass brawl.

Footage shows youngsters clashing with rival fans as terrified students fled from the fighting group.

Student Jao Khun said: ‘It was so scary. Bottles were flying everywhere. They shouldn't be anywhere near sports if they couldn't accept defeat. It's not just about winning.'

Marshalls went to break off the fighting group while the students involved in the brawl were caught and reported to their schools.
