Digger overturns and sinks into river on the outskirts of Jakarta, Indonesia
A large digger dramatically overturned and sank in a river on the outskirts of Jakarta, Indonesia, on Sunday 13 November.
The Beko heavy equipment was dredging mud from the Malang River, which runs from Bekasi, a town on the eastern outskirts of the Indonesian capital where the incident happened, to East Jakarta.
The digger appeared to be overwhelmed by deep waters and a strong current when it flipped over and sank into the muddy water.
Fortunately, the vehicle's driver survived.
