A cat fell inside an abandoned well in Hosur, Krishnagiri, India's state of Tamil Nadu.

The animal cried for help and luckily a man who was passing by heard it. When he looked inside the hole, he saw the poor cat and called the firefighters for help.

Emergency services rushed to the spot. One of the team members went inside the well with the help of a rope tied to his hip.

The firefighter managed to get the cat out by using a bucket.

The emergency team believes the cat spent at least six days trapped inside the well before being rescued due to its poor condition.

Inside the well he saw a cat and its crying for help. He immediately called the fire and rescue team. They rushed to the spot and one of the rescue team member got inside the well tied a rope onto its hip.

Then the a bucket was sent down to lift the cat. A cat was airlifted by the rescuers who were standing at the top. The rescue team on seeing the cat s pathetic condition said its would have been inside the well for atleast 6 days.

Then the drenched and the weak cat when left freely vanished from the sight immediately irrespective of its tiredness
