An off-duty fireman drove an injured courier to a hospital in southern China before completing their food delivery.

CCTV footage filmed in the city of Quanzhou in Fujian Province on November 9 shows the delivery man falling off his scooter.

An off-duty fireman named Zhuo Yang spotted the incident when he drove past the area and went to check on the delivery man.

Since the delivery man suffered fractures to his arm, Zhuo drove him to a nearby hospital.

Because the delivery man was worried that the food could not be delivered to the customers on time after he arrived at the hospital. Zhou decided to help him deliver the food.

In the video, Zhuo was heard saying: "He (the delivery man) was worried that the food had not been delivered yet. So I told him to trust me and I promised to deliver the food for him."

After finishing delivering the food, Zhuo went back to the hospital and did not leave until he knew the delivery man was alright.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
