Royal staff kneel in lift while Thai king's wife carries pet dog from concert
This is the bizarre moment royal staff were seen kneeling in a lift while the Thai king's wife carried her pet dog out of a music concert
Her Majesty Queen Suthida, 44, attended the Singing Bird concert by Phi Bird Thongchai McIntyre at Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani in Nonthaburi province on November 11.
Video shows concertgoers sitting on the floor as Queen Suthida, a former air hostess plucked from poverty to royalty, walked out of the elevator with her pet dog after the performance. They were chanting 'long live the king' in their native language.
Bizarrely, royal staff that shared the lift with the monarch's wife had to kneel while they were in her presence.
Royal-supporting Actress Top Daraneenute said: ‘One of the joys of the night was seeing the Queen. The others were raising their voices to express their loyalty and happiness.'
Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn, 70, has become infamous for walking around shopping malls in crop tops, jailing his concubine and keeping a harem of 'sex soldiers' in a hotel in Germany during the pandemic.
