Angry crowd react to Libertines gig being postponed
Footage has emerged of a venue full of fans being told that The Libertines' concert they were about to see had been postponed due to illness.
The video, captured at Camden's Electric Ballroom, London on Thursday, shows the fans' angry reaction at the announcement, prompting a round of boos and objects thrown onto the stage.
The band later posted on social media explaining the situation: "Due to unforeseen circumstances tonight the Libertines have had to postpone their sold out shows at the Electric Ballroom in Camden and at the Ritz in Manchester tomorrow night. Peter, Carl, John and Gary apologise whole heartedly to their fans and will reschedule both shows as soon as possible. This will not effect any of The Libertines other commitments."
