While on holiday in Greece, Ian Bunker spoke through his doorbell camera in an attempt to ward off a fox that was in his London garden.

Footage captured on May 9 shows the fox nicknamed Ajax and her cub roaming on Bunker's decking after breaking a cactus in a plant pot.

The homeowner is then heard talking to the fox. The animal tilts its head before taking a closer inspection of the device.

"Ajax, what you doing?" Bunker is heard as the fox nuzzles into the broken pot. "No, no, no," the homeowner exclaims.

Bunker told Newsflare: "Using the two-way talk function on an Amazon Ring Doorbell while I was on holiday in Greece I spoke to a startled but bemused London urban fox called Ajax with her cute young cub as she breaks a cacti plant and shuffles around for food on the decking."
