The Qatari government, who own an 80% stake in all the hotels in Qatar, are holding guns to World Cup supporters heads, as they flock into the country for the start of the big event.
Basic rooms that were £25 a few days ago are now being charged up to £1000 a night. This comes on the first night of the World Cup which starts in Doha tonight.
