There's no better way to spend a Sunday than by saving an animal's life and Alexandra Stein's (the filmer) daughter will agree.

Filmed on September 25, 2022, this gleeful video shows the aforementioned youngling heroically picking up a sizeable turtle with her bare hands in order to get him out of harm's way.

"Our street is a throughway and there are often nonresidents driving well over the speed limit," Alexandra shared with WooGlobe. "When my daughter and I saw a turtle in the middle of the road, not moving, we got out of the car and attempted to nudge him to the other side of the street, but he would not move.

"My daughter couldn’t leave him, so she bravely picked him up. He didn’t like that very much and started running in mid-air. When placed back on the ground, he ran as fast as he could to the pond and swam to freedom and safety."
