Senegal took on the Netherlands on Monday evening (November 21) at Al Thumama Stadium in Qatar in Group A and this football fan couldn’t help but notice the number of empty seats.

The stadium announcer also announced the attendance inside the stadium was more than the stadium actually seats.

"Tonight I attended the Senegal v Holland World Cup match," fan Dennis Moss said. "I noticed all through the game the thousands of empty seats around the entire stadium. When the attendance was announced towards the end as 41,000, I was in disbelief. Just another piece of fake news coming out of Qatar, as there were no more than 30,000."

Online, FIFA lists the stadium's capacity as 40,000.
