A woman has been turning stomachs on TikTok after creating an edible mock raw chicken snack – and some users are saying it’s making them “vomit”.

The mock chicken breast was created by Tatum Parden, 20, a fine art student at Central St Martins University London.

The talented sculptor created the jelly-based substance as part of a university project and shared the results with her 149,500 followers on TikTok (@cucumberskinlinguine) – with some users chickening out of watching her friend take a bite.

In the video, which has had over 614,800 views and 39,700 likes, Tatum can be seen casting a raw chicken breast in silicone to create a mould.

She then adds more jelly for texture, before popping it loose and allowing a friend to take a bite.

The reaction from TikTok was pretty telling.

“Cheers mate I just projectile vomited everywhere…” wrote one viewer.

“I literally gagged,” commented another person.

“Goodbye everyone, I'll remember you all in therapy”, wrote another user.

Someone else said: “This made my mouth water and not in a good way.”

“Why is it grey,” asked another baffled viewer.

But just how did Tatum create this foul jelly?

“To make the ‘raw chicken’ jelly I made a silicone jelly mould using a real raw chicken breast,” Tatum told NeedToKnow.online.

“I made a milk jelly and let it thicken in the fridge and syringed the thickened milk jelly into the mould to make the gristle.

“I then dyed some chicken stock ‘raw chicken pink’ using food dye and filled the mould to the top.

“Finally I put the jelly in the fridge to set and popped it out of the mould when it was ready.”

When asked if the negative reactions phased her, Tatum revealed she actually enjoyed people’s discomfort.

She added: “I’m not surprised by the negative reactions and I actually enjoy seeing them. I like making things that confuse people.

“I’ve also made a raw chicken cake – [which is] raw chicken in image, not in flavour – so I do seem to have some weird interest in raw chicken.

“I like the idea of ‘forbidden foods’ and being able to ‘un-forbid’ them, in a way.”

Tatum’s work has even caught the attention of streaming giants looking to create their own gory yet edible works of art.

She said: “I started making jellies fairly recently after I worked with Netflix to help develop some edible human hearts for the launch of their show ‘The B*stard Son & The Devil Himself’.

“I had never worked with jelly before this so it was great to learn new skills and methods to make edible art.”
