Central Jakarta Metro Police Arrest Two Perpetrators of Counterfeit Money, as evidence of Rp2 billion.
Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Commissioner of Police (Kombes Pol) Komarudin said, the two 'Partners in Crime' who were arrested had the initials RC and DL, where RC perpetrators also played a role in marketing counterfeit money in this case.
Komarudin said this case began when the victim or the complainant needed money for business capital. And coincidentally, the RC actors offered and agreed to provide capital assistance loans to victims who needed Rp 5 billion of money.
"Furthermore, by this RC actor, the victim was introduced to suspect DL and also suspect JK alias Andika who stated that he was able to provide capital loans on condition that there must be administrative money to expedite the process, with an amount of about 10 percent of the loan," said Komarudin at a press conference in Jakarta. Central Jakarta Police Headquarters, Tuesday (22/11/2022).
However, continued Komarudin, the victim could only afford and had Rp 100 million as a condition to facilitate this administration.
And in exchange, he said, the perpetrators agreed to only provide a capital loan of Rp. 2 billion to the victim.
"Furthermore, there was communication and an agreement between the victim and the perpetrator by telephone at one of the shophouses in the Sumur Batu area, Kemayoran. Here, the victim met the perpetrator DL who was escorted by the perpetrator JK who handed over one bag which was said to contain money worth Rp 2 billion," he explained.
In this case, he said, the victim handed over the money required for the administrative process to the perpetrator in the amount of Rp. 100 million, which was immediately brought by the two perpetrators.
