A rally was held outside Scotland's parliament in Edinburgh after Supreme Court ruled the country could not legally hold another independence referendum.

A small group of pro-union supporters held a counter-protest on the opposite side of the road.

EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND - November 23, 2022: Members various Scottish independence groups and supporters gathered at the Scottish Parliament Building to protest the ruling made by the Supreme Court in London earlier that day.

Scottish independence groups and supporters protested all over Scotland as a mass demonstration following the ruling made by the Supreme Court in London on whether Scotland was allowed to hold an independence referendum which ended with the Supreme Court saying Scotland cannot hold a referendum without Westminster's consent.

A small group of pro-union supporters held a counter-protest on the opposite side of the road.

Police Scotland were present but no arrests made.
