Voters form long lines during the 15th General Election in Rantau, Malaysia

Barisan Nasional candidate for the Rembau Parliament for the 15th General Election, Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan voted at Chung Hua Chinese National Primary School in Rantau, Malaysia. He arrived at the polling center with his wife, Datin Seri Raja Salbiah Tengku Nujumudin at about 9.10am.
Mohamad, who voted on channel two, finished his duties at about 9.40am and then mingled with other voters at the polling station. When met by reporters, Mohamad who is also the BN Deputy Chairman said that he was satisfied with the progress of the voting process so far and hoped that the public would be able to come out and fulfill their responsibilities. "Go out and vote, fulfill our responsibility as citizens to elect a government that we will be able to depend on in the next five years, he said.
Mohamad who represents Barisan Nasional received a challenge from Pakatan Harapan candidate Jufitri Joha and Perikatan Nasional candidate Mohd Nazree Mohd Yunus. Also competing in the five-cornered clash is the candidate of the Pejuang Tanahair Party, Ramly Awalludin and the representative of the Socialist Party of Malaysia, S. Tinagaran.
There are a total of 133,555 registered voters in the Rembau Parliament, comprising Malay voters of 73.62 percent, Indians, 15.9 percent, and Chinese voters of 8.76 percent.
