Qatari onlooker Ahlam Mansuri said: "The amazing Japan fans collected waste from the audience stand after the game. They are the best".

Japanese fans were also praised in 2018 for cleaning up the stands in Russia after matches. They are now being praised for their kind actions in the Middle East.
