A dilapidated tile-roofed house with an area of only 13.51 square meters has become a "school district house" with a price of 350,000 yuan in Nanning, Guangxi Province, China, October 17, 2022.

The former tiled house, with its red tiled roof broken by neglect, looks more like an abandoned utility house than the buildings next to it. When I came to the "Sparrow" small tiled house, I saw that the roof had been repaired and covered with new orange tiles.

The Windows on both sides of the house were also installed with new stainless steel anti-theft Windows. A gate was opened in the front of the house and a rolling gate was installed. Through the window, there was still a lot of garbage on the floor. It is understood that the dilapidated "sparrow" house has existed for more than 20 years.

This tile house is not illegal construction, the plot is privately owned. The previous occupant was an old man, and when he died, the house was inherited by her son. Later the owner to the neighborhood committee to open proof also presented the property certificate. The owner later sold the property for 220,000 yuan, and the tile-roofed house is now listed for 350,000 yuan.

Through the Internet to inquire the relevant primary and secondary school enrollment area division scheme, found that this tile house does belong to Nanning Hongxing Primary School and Nanning No.2 Middle School enrollment range. However, some real estate agents consulted the relevant authorities and learned that the tile house can only be repaired, not rebuilt. Some real estate agents said, just to get a hukou, the accommodation is not suitable, no water, no electricity, no toilets can not live. Neighbors said they bought the house for other purposes, not to actually use or live in it.
