Co-op launches robots that will deliver groceries to Leeds residents

Supermarket chain Co-op has launched robots that will deliver groceries to a radius of 20,000 residents in Leeds, UK.

Footage from November 30 shows one of the Starship robots making its way through the streets of Leeds.

Two Co-op stores, Spen Lane and Otley Road, are taking part in the pilot scheme.

Customers can download the Starship app and schedule a delivery within an hour of placing an order. They are then provided with a unique code to access the robot.
