An artistic little boy draws his own tattoo patterns and inks them on his father's arms.

Footage shows Nong Night, 7, with his art materials as he scribbles new body art designs in their home in Chonburi province, Thailand.

In another clip, Nong Night was seen using tattoo equipment to transfer his doodles onto his daddy's arms.

Proud father Nattawut Sangtong said he didn't expect that his son would pick up on the hobby.

He said: ‘He used to watch many videos on the phone. I was only trying to keep him from watching too much after coming home from school.

‘My son then told me he wanted to learn how to tattoo. I don't have a tattoo shop or accept any tattoo work.'

However, Nattawut added that what started as a hobby became the boy's favourite activity.

He said: ‘At first, I just wanted to take him off the videos but he seemed to like it so much . He is also good at it so I let him draw some of his designs on my skin using a real device.'
