School pupils have hilarious reaction after being told of their high grades
These hilarious young pupils had a funny reaction after finding out about their high grades.
The youngsters were inside the classroom when their teacher announced the release of their report cards in South Cotabato province, the Philippines, on November 11.
At first, the grade nine students appeared nervous until their names were called one by one.
Footage shows the schoolchildren jumping and cheering apparently surprised they received such high marks.
Teacher Kris Ramos said: 'It was funny that they were surprised to get high grades, but it was more touching than hilarious for me as their teacher.
‘Seeing them celebrating each other is so priceless. It makes me feel I have done the right job.'
One of the pupils, a little boy with a pink neck pillow sitting in front, jumped for joy as his best friend carried him.
Teacher Kris said the young boy was delighted to know he made it to the top of the class.
She said: ‘He is a diligent boy who finishes his work on time and participates in the lessons. He deserves to be on the honour roll.'
After the announcement, teacher Kris said the pupils were excited to come home to tell their parents about the news.
She said: ‘They all deserve their grades. They made their parents proud.'
