Vincent Magwenya, spokesperson to South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, provided the media with an update from Tuynhuys, the presidential office at Parliament in Cape Town. The update comes as calls rise for Ramaphosa to resign or be impeached based on the outcome of the report into alleged money laundering at Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala game farm.

Magwenya said Ramaphosa is considering all his options at this point and taking counsel from all stakeholders including the tripartite alliance partners and the national executive committee of the ruling African National Congress (ANC). Magwenya confirmed that an announcement from Ramaphosa is imminent.
