Revellers took to Birmingham’s Broad Street on Friday (2 December) night wearing Christmas outfits as the festive season gets underway.

Several groups were seen walking the infamous nightlife strip in work party groups.

One man was seen in a red tartan Christmas suit with mini baubles in his long beard whilst many others wore Christmas jumpers.

Women joined in wearing sparkly outfits and tinsel.

Despite the freezing temperatures some partygoers still skimped on clothing but many did decide to take a coat with them to keep warm whilst walking to and from the city centre venues.

A man was spotted with a ‘Death of Christmas’ shirt, showing skeleton skulls wearing Santa hats.

A woman waited for a taxi whilst clutching on to an inflatable snowman.
