A small fleet of robots were delivering groceries around a Leeds suburb on Saturday.

The footage filmed on December 3 shows several small robot vehicles driving around the neighbourhood after having been loaded with groceries at a Co-op store.

The compact robots are part of a three-month trial by Leeds City Council & Co-op which started on Wednesday earlier this week. The robots operated by Starship Technologies travel on the pavements and can carry up to 3 full bags of shopping.

They are currently serving up to 20,000 residents in the villages of Tinshill and Adel.
