An explosion occurred at Engels-2 Russian airbase in the Saratov region this morning (December 5) at approximately 6 am local time. Two people were wounded.

The cause of the blast is unknown.

The drone crashed at an air base near the city of Engels. Damage was received by two Tu-95 bombers. Two servicemen were wounded, they were hospitalized.

Residents of Engels and Saratov heard a strong explosion at about six o'clock in the morning.
