A giant sculpture of a homeless person has been unveiled by the charity Crisis outside King's Cross Station in London.

The 4.3-metre tall realistic statue, named "Alex", was created by Sophie de Oliveira Barata. The artist used technology to combine the profiles of seventeen people helped by the organisation.

It took Sophie de Oliveira Barata 10 weeks to create this artwork. "Alex" is equipped with QR codes for visitors to donate to Crisis.
