'A beautifully planned surprise wedding proposal backdropped by a stunning Christmas tree... it can't get any merrier than this!

Gleeful footage surfacing from Canton, Georgia shows the magical moment Jonathan Hughes asked the love of his life, Hannah Harden, to marry him.

Shedding light on the efforts that were made to make this incredible moment a reality, Hannah said:

"I was supposed to be headed to 'Santa pictures' with my nephew and the family. Once I entered the building, I saw all of our (mine, as well as my fiancé's) best friends scattered around/hidden throughout the building holding roses."

She added: "Each person with a rose played a super significant role in our lives in the 5 years we have been together, so it was super special to have them there.

"My 1-year-old nephew handed me what I thought was my last rose before I turned the corner and saw my now fiancé standing there dressed in all black, holding the last rose."

The bride-to-be further stated that she said yes (duh!) and that the newly-engaged couple ended the night celebrating with cocktails and hanging out with their loved ones. Hannah called it a "night to remember."
