Katie Mitchell flies to Italy from England to be the maid of honor at her best friend's wedding.

She lands the day before her friend's wedding and goes straight to the event seen in this clip.

Interestingly, the bride seems clueless about Katie's plan; she just knew that her bestie had to cancel her flight because of her father's illness.

She gets stunned by Katie's out of nowhere appearance at the event and screams because she cannot believe it.

"I was supposed to be going to Italy to be the maid of honor for my best friend's wedding, but my dad became critically ill the day before we were supposed to fly, so I had to cancel," said Katie. "They spent the first four days in Italy without me, and then my dad's condition stabilized, and I would be OK to leave for a short period.

"So, I booked a flight at noon and set off one hour later to surprise the whole wedding party in Italy. I had told one member that I was coming, so she gave her an envelope with a message inside saying, 'Is there still room for a maid of honor?'

"As she took up the letter to open, which she thought was a pre-wedding gift, I ran in and surprised her."
