Self-park fail! Man with Mercedes-AMG C63 loses trust in feature due to hilarious episode

This is the hilarious moment a Mercedes-AMG C63 owner documents how the car has a faulty self-park feature in Hull, United Kingdom on December 3.

The filmer shared the story with Newsflare: “I bought my Mercedes-AMG C63 a few weeks ago. Noting that it had the self-park feature, I was keen to give it a try. The first time was at home in the dark. I selected ‘Space’ and pressed ok. The car sprung into life and preceded to reverse at a seriously high speed. I bottled it and braked. But I was keen to give it a go in a better environment. We had gone to Sainsbury’s in HESSLE and noting a near empty car park, I set up to ‘scan’ for a space. It was at this point, recalled my previous episode. My daughters Poppy and Hollie said that we ought to record it. So a space flashed up. I selected it and the car decided to park in between the only two cars in the row. As can be seen, the car carried out its maneuvers. It was very nerve-wracking as the gap between the cars was not very wide, but I decided to put my faith in Mercedes. The car veered toward one of the cars and then it slammed on the brakes causing both daughters to head but the headrests. We thought that we had hit the car and so did the guy that had just returned to his car. It took some explaining and after satisfying himself that I hadn’t trashed his car, he found the funny side.”
