Moscow mall ravaged by huge fire; one person dead
A mall in Moscow was ravaged by a fire on December 9, killing one person.
The explosion and collapse occurred in the Obi hypermarket in the Mega Khimki shopping center.
The fire was reported to rescuers at 7:05 a.m.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire area was 7,000 square meters.
The cause of the fire is said to be welding work in the annex of the OBI hypermarket, which was carried out in violation of safety rules.
The footage was filmed by Sergey, a local bus driver.
