Magnitude 5.6 earthquake shakes hanging lights in the Philippines

Lights were seen shaking as a magnitude 5.6 earthquake hit the Philippines on Saturday morning.

Footage shows the appliance moving precariously as the home in Davao del Norte was rocked by the tremors on December 10.

The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported that the quake hit the Mindanao region in the south of the country at at a depth of 60 km (37.28 miles).

It happened at 4:01 am local time, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).
