A homeowner was shot and killed shortly after midnight (December 10) when he confronted two masked men that he found in his backyard in Houston, US.

According to Lt. Willkens of the Houston Police Department, the homeowner accidentally stumbled across the suspects in his backyard when he heard noises just after midnight in the 8400 block of Safeguard in the Sunnyside neighborhood of Houston.

The homeowner then opened his garage not realizing the suspects made it back to the front and a confrontation ensued which led to the homeowner being shot and being killed.
