This was the dramatic moment two men, who were initially kicked out of Reflex nightclub were tackled to the ground by officers after they lunged back towards revellers queuing to get in.

A cop is heard shouting “let go of the officer” and moments later someone inside the melee could be heard saying “He’s Biting Me” West Midlands Police officers quickly descended onto the incident on Broad Street in Birmingham, England on Saturday 10 December just before midnight.

One of the offenders faces was bloodied and both were led handcuffed into awaiting police vans.

The night had started calm despite the 2-1 defeat against France.

Some partygoers were seen staggering along the nightclub strip, but some were happy to pose for a picture.

A girl said she “regretted” not wearing a coat as she was spotted with her arms in a red England shirt whilst walking between clubs before she posed with her friend for a photo.

One woman was however wheeled away on a stretcher by a St John’s Ambulance crew after she was attended to by officers for being unwell.
