Londoner hilariously swaps slopes for streets and skis down residential road
A London local has hilariously swapped the slopes for the streets by skiing down a residential road in the snow-covered capital.
Freezing weather reached London prompting the people to have a bit of fun in the snow.
The clip shows a local skiing down a hill in Harringay, north London, gliding between cars whilst snow falls.
Resident Hugh Carter captured the video yesterday evening (December 11).
He said: "Not every evening you can do this on a hill in London."
The cold conditions have blanketed the capital and caused traffic chaos including closed railway and tube lines, and hundreds of canceled flights from Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning to south-east England for "lying snow and icy patches" between 9 am Monday to 11 am Tuesday.
