This footage shows how paper-thin sheets of butter pancakes are made by Thailand's street vendors.

The sweet and crunchy treats are prepared by first greasing the griddle with a stick of butter until the surface is well-coated.

Next, the vendor scoops a cupful of batter and spreads it out into a thin layer until the desired thickness is reached.

The dough is made with simple everyday ingredients such as eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla extract, milk, flour, and baking soda. However, it is made richer and tastier by adding even more butter and generous drizzles of condensed milk.

Once the pancake sheet is golden brown, it is sliced into a grid and rolled up into delicate, flavour-packed cylinders.

Locals said it is easy to overeat the delicious desserts because of how thin each sheet is.

The crispy snack is a popular staple in Thailand's late night markets in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Phuket.
