A psychic lion who correctly predicted England would lose to France and that Argentina would beat Croatia - now claims MORROCO will reach the World Cup final.

The big cat named Chaoy Boy grabbed a chicken drumstick below the French flag, indicating they would beat England in the quarter-finals last weekend.

Yesterday he even chose Argentina over Croatia - a prophecy which came true when Lionel Messi lead the side to a 3-0 on Tuesday evening.

Chao Boy - possibly the world's smartest lion - has now predicted that Middle Eastern underdogs will smash the Gallic outfit, even if they have the help of referees, on Wednesday evening at the Al Bayt Stadium in Qatar.

Footage from the zoo in Khon Kaen province, northeast Thailand on December 13 shows him choosing the red flag of North African Morocco instead of the tricolor of France.

Proud caretaker Narongwit Chodchoy said: 'Chaoy Boy is amazing. He has been predicting everything correctly. The pieces of chicken are the same and we don't interfere with them in any way. He just chooses whichever he wants and he is right.

'He could be a psychic lion. He's definitely a very clever animal.'

In the previous games, Chao Boy also chose Argentina over Holland and Morocco to knock out Portugal - all of which came true. However, his guess that Brazil would beat Croatia was understandably one of his few mistakes.

Zookeeper Narongwit added: 'These exercises and fun and they help the lion with his exercise.

'Chao Boy has always been considered a favorite in predicting football results. Whether it's the World Cup, Euros, or other major football matches, he can predict accurately with 80 or 90 per cent of his guesses being correct.'
