A scared shopper ran away as a cashier took off her face mask to sneeze in eastern China.
Video filmed in the city of Weifang in Shandong Province on December 12 shows a customer putting their goods onto the counter to check out.
However, the cashier suddenly took off her face mask to sneeze.
The scared customer then ran away immediately.
Since the country lifted COVID restrictions and the infection rate increased, people take extra caution to avoid being infected.
The cashier Ms Liu said she can understand the customer and she will pay more attention to hygiene in the future and will not easily take off the mask.
