This is the moment a scared student caught a monkey and tossed it away after it bit his hands in Thailand.

The wild monkey rampaged with its troop into a school, sending panicked youngsters away in Phetchaburi province.

A grade 9 student Atthaset Ruengsuwan thought he could calm the creature down and approached one of the five primates only to throw it away when it attacked him.

Footage shows the young lad wearing a uniform hurling the monkey off his arms after he grabbed it off the ground.

Deputy Director of Prommanusorn School Wichai Maichui said: ‘The student told us he was about to throw trash in the bin outside their room after lunch. He then saw the monkey.

‘He said it approached him, and he caught it. After he tossed it to the ground.'

The boy's right arm bled, and he was taken to the hospital and was given an anti-rabies shot.
