This is the terrifying moment a pair of aggressive escaped bulls clashed on a busy road in Thailand.

The two animals caused traffic to slow down as they butted heads at a junction in Nakhon Si Thammarat province, Thailand on December 11.

Authorities redirected the flow of oncoming traffic as the rowdy beasts pushed each other on the tarmac.

Cars were able to pass freely after the bulls moved their fight to a field next to the road.

Onlooker Suphattra Khongyuen said: 'The traffic chaos lasted for hours because of the bull fight. The rescue volunteers eventually came to the scene, guided the animals to the roadside and let them fight there.

'I'm not sure where they came from. I'm just glad nobody was hurt.'
