This lucky grandmother received the warmest welcome when her pet dogs greeted her after her two-week vacation in the Philippines.

Angelina Barranco, 72, was mobbed by the trio of affectionate canines Smith, Brook, and Covid when she returned to her home in Janiuay, Iloilo province on December 10 after spending two weeks in Davao province.

The excited mutts, overjoyed by Angelina's return, pounced on the overwhelmed but amused pensioner as they fought for her attention.

Angelina's daughter June said: "My mum is the one who feeds them most of the time, that's why they are so affectionate with her. When she was still in Davao and would hop on a video call, they would howl and whimper upon hearing her voice".

"I was so happy seeing them so excited by mum's return. The joy our dogs bring us is irreplaceable".
