Striking nurse outside St Thomas' Hospital asks Rishi Sunak and UK government to "have a conscience"
A nurse on strike outside St Thomas' Hospital in London on Thursday (December 15) has asked Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and the UK government to "have a conscience" and do more to help nurses.
She also discussed how she has "had to go without enough food or enough drink" on her shift to ensure the safety of her patients.
The nurse also mentioned she felt it is "very fair" to ask for a pay rise of "5% above the level of inflation" for "the level of work and care" nurses offer the public.
