A schoolboy born with 24 fingers and toes has shown off his unique digits.

The youngster Porsche Nattawat, six, had four extra fingers - one on each hand and foot - when he was born in from Ratchaburi province, Thailand.

Porsche showed off his extra limbs in a video on December 14. Another clip showed him enjoying himself while playing with balloons with his classmates.

But despite the deformity, the Porsche's mum Nongnuch Kongting said they don't have any plans of having them removed.

She said: ‘He can touch and carry things just like anybody else. My son also has an amazing memory.

‘My father works as a constructor and Porshe was able to remember all of the tools. He is very good in his studies.'

Mother Nongnuch added that doctors had already asked her to work on the operation, but they refused.

She said: ‘They asked if I wanted to have his extra toes and fingers removed, and I said no.

‘The extra part has never been a problem, and my son's development is normal and healthy.'

The world record holder for the most fingers and toes belongs to a Kumari Nayak, 63, from India who had a condition called polydactylism that caused her to have 31 fingers.

She beat carpenter Devendra Sutra, also from India, who had 28 fingers.
