This Burmese street vendor showed how to prepare a refreshing cup of slushy the traditional way.
The diligent worker first manually shaved a large block of ice on a grater to fill a cup while selling the sweet treet to passers-by in Yangon, Myanmar, on December 10.
The snowy pile is then doused with syrup and topped with various add-ons depending on the customer's preferences.
This method of making a slushy has become less popular as more vendors have begun using mechanical ice crushers instead.
