Pickup truck carrying solar panel roof cells bursts into flames on road in Bangkok
A panicked driver grabbed a fire extinguisher when a solar panel roof cell in the back of his pickup truck burst into flames during the morning commute.
The motorist leaped from the black Mitsubishi when smoke began pouring from the trailer. Flames engulfed the vehicle shortly after in front of shocked locals in Bangkok, Thailand, on December 15 morning.
Onlooker Werapol Hemthanon spotted the flames raging behind the pickup truck while he was driving to work
He said: 'I heard a loud thud and suddenly flames were pouring out from the pickup truck. I'm not sure what started the fire, all I know is the pickup had a solar rooftop in its trunk. Nobody was injured.'
