Residents of Serbia gathered for a protest action amid the aggravation of relations between the authorities of Pristina and the Kosovo Serbs in Belgrade on December 16.

Ethnic Serbs in northern Kosovo have erected barricades after the arrest of a former policeman. Earlier this week, Pristina signed an official application for EU candidate status, while Serbia immediately called for the process to be canceled.
