Mad Friday revellers painted the town red this year despite train strikes and the sub-zero temperatures.

As office parties spilled out of pre-booked venues in Birmingham, England on 16 December, the Christmas partygoers took to the infamous nightlife strip on Broad Street.

Those revellers who ventured out had a mix of wrapped up warm outfits and clothing you’d expect to see on a Summers day.

Some had Santa hats on and others wore Christmas jumpers and full festive suits.

Even police officers joined in with the party spirit with one female officer having a little boogie whilst watching over members of the public enjoying their night out.

Several ladies were seen in skimpy clubbing outfits despite the freezing conditions. They seemed eager to get inside the warm nightclubs.

Several partygoers were seen being attended to and assisted home by their mates as the bitter cold was made worse by a brisk wind.

Some clubs such as Popworld managed to pull in a queue with office workers hunting out a cheesy 80’s classic with other clubs struggling to pull in the punters compared to a normal Friday night.
