A timelapse camera caught families visiting a Santa's Grotto in Yorkshire last weekend.
The event was captured last Saturday evening (10th December) in a Leeds suburb.
The event in aid of charity, was set up by a woman from Swillington, who wanted local children to recieve a present from Santa, so requested parents to drop off a selection box a couple of weeks leading up to the event. The boxes of chocolates, were then wrapped by another organiser and then handed out by Santa outside the village Christmas Tree on Wakefield Road. The team of volunteers dressed up as Elves to add to the Christmas spirit. In total over 450 selection boxes were dropped off by parents for their children or donated as a gift for other children. Over 250 gift wrapped boxes of chocolates were left after the event, so were given to the local church and foodbanks.
