A small group of bedraggled environmental protesters braved grim weather in central London to sing protest carols outside the Coca-Cola store in Covent Garden on Sunday 18 December.

The group, said to be part of Extinction Rebellion, did not let apparent public indifference or the challenges of public performance get in the way of their stance against what they say is one of the world's worst plastic polluters.

A pair of seemingly nonplussed police officers watched the performance from a short distance away.
