An elephant hit a bride and groom with a leaf while they were taking the wedding photos
A grumpy elephant hit a groom with a massive coconut tree leaf during his wedding photoshoot with his bride.
Jai Srinkar and Greeshma Vr Krishnan were celebrating their nuptials on December 5 when they visited the Panmana Major Sree Subramahnya Swamy Temple in Kerala, India.
Amazing footage captured the moment a massive elephant in the background of the pictures threw a leaf directly at the newlyweds.
The missile struck Jai on the shoulder knocking him forward, but fortunately he and Greeshma saw the funny side of the encounter.
Videographer Rejin Nacho, of Nacho Weddings, said: “We asked the couple to stand in front of the elephant while it was eating.
“Out of nowhere, the elephant threw a coconut tree leaf at them, and it hit Jai on the shoulder.
“Fortunately, it didn’t injure him and we all found it very funny.”
