Man with COVID-19 places pet snake on forehead to lower his temperature
A man in Qingdao, Shandong province, infected with COVID-19 had a fever and put his pet snake over his forehead to lower his body temperature.
In the video filmed on December 17, the red snake with black rings was slowly crawling over the man’s forehead while he was lying in bed.
The man named Mr You said that the fever had lasted for two days and there was no particularly good way to cool down.
So he put the snake on his forehead and did not expect the temperature of the snake to be just right, not very cool and not hot.
According to Mr You, his pet is a Nelson's milksnake, a nonvenomous species.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
